Podgorica pri Podtaboru is a small settlement to the north of Sveti Jurij in the Grosuplje municipality in central Slovenia. The area is part of the historical region of Lower Carniola. The municipality is now included in the Central Slovenia statistical region.[2]
A small roadside chapel in the village is dedicated to Saint Peter and bears dates to the early 2oth century.[3]
